DRG works in partnership with private property owners to offer premier vacation homes on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina. DRG currently represents over 35 Daufuskie cottages, villas, and houses.
DRG’s overall goal is to make owning a vacation property on Daufuskie Island an easy and stress-free way of achieving substantial revenue for our property owner clients. By utilizing and building on our existing marketing program, we will customize an aggressive strategy to maximize the owner's vacation home earnings. In addition, our dedicated team members and partner groups will work diligently to protect the owner's investment by maintaining this house as if it were our own.
We will recommend seasonal rental rates to the owner.
Manage website postings & inquiries.
Communicate all necessary logistical information to rental guests.
We will be available 24/7 to rental guests.
We will provide a “welcome notebook” that will include property and island information.
We will coordinate cleaning services and stocking amenities.
Should the owner decide to offer certain benefits, we will oversee that contractual service.
We will facilitate all necessary repairs and ensure that routine maintenance services are provided in a timely way.

1) Daufuskie Rental Group makes a good faith effort to describe island amenities, including restaurants and pools. However, please note that we are not responsible for the availability of amenities that we do not operate and that are beyond our control. Please contact the vendors directly for rates, days and hours of operation.
2) Your rental agreement contract's cancellation policy states that we are not responsible for events that are beyond our control, such as hurricanes. We strongly encourage our guests to purchase travel insurance, and especially recommend "cancel for any reason" policies. (These must be purchased shortly after your reservation is made.)
3) Please note that because the Melrose Resort is in transition, our Melrose guests may notice a certain level of deterioration in the resort-owned buildings but will also see that renovation efforts are now underway. Our vacation cottages are in well-maintained areas and continue to be extremely popular.
4) Restaurant days and hours of operation vary seasonally and by business. We highly encourage all renters contact the business directly for operational times during their stay dates.
