"This was our first time on Daufuskie Island and it did not disappoint! There were a lot of pieces to put together in order to ensure we had a successful vacation but every step of the way someone was available and willing to help us with any questions we had or suggestions for us! Pay attention to all the information you receive. There are a lot of instructions to follow, times to take note of, schedules to adhere to, and packing to be done but trust me they told me everything to consider along the way, and had I not done so our vacation would not have been nice as it was! We fell in love with this island, the beach, the trees, the quietness, the people everything about it. Our home was very comfortable and in a great location! Even after exploring the entire island, I think I would still choose to come back to these rentals. I loved being steps away from the beach. I loved the outdoor shower to rinse off sand too! There are a few properties still being worked on but I'm excited to see the progress next time we visit. I hope the pool and restaurant will have new owners by then and be available. I can see that being a major advantage to staying on Daufuskie! I contacted the property manager and his group many times during my stay with everything from a medical issue to where could I buy a flashlight and received a very kind prompt response every time. This is a wonderful team to work with and a great location to stay. We cannot wait to visit again!"
